Desktop Dungeons game is getting ready to be released on tablets
On Thursday, May 28, the Desktop Dungeons “bagel” will appear on tablets.
The game is being ported by the creators of the original, QCF Design studio from Cape Town. They promised that the tablet version would remain “exactly the same” as the original PC game.
Additional content will be available to users, as in the expanded version of the game on PC Desktop Dungeons Enhanced Edition. Progress on PC will be saved on tablets – and vice versa.
The cost of the game will be $ 10. The authors of the game in their blog noted that they decided not to make the game shareware, because it would spoil the gameplay.
Desktop Dungeons will be released simultaneously on both iOS and Android.
It should be noted that the original version of the game was developed for almost three years, during which it managed to win several awards at once, even before falling into the hands of users. In 2010, the Gamasutra resource gave her the third place in the list of the ten best indie games of the year, and at the IGF Independent Games Festival in 2011, she received a prize for “Excellence in Design”.
