Mobile game streaming service Mobcrush raised $4.9 million

The minimalistic Mobcrush service, which, to be honest, is not so original – streams (including mobile ones) are now in fashion, attracted the attention of a very large number of investors.

Сервис по стримингу мобильных игр Mobcrush поднял $4,9 млн

And although the figure of almost $5 million at the present time is not so impressive, the number of people and companies that have allocated it inspires respect.

As our colleagues write with PocketGamer.biz , among private investors in Mobcrush noticed:

  • Kabam CEO Kevin Chou
  • former Kabam Chief Operating Officer Chris Carvalho
  • one of the early investors of Supercell, Jari Ovaskainen
  • Testflight founder Evan Rifkin

But not by them alone. As many as seven investment funds also contributed: Raine Ventures, First Round Capital, CrunchFund, Rincon Crosscut, Lionsgate and Advancit Capital.

How the service plans to earn money is still unclear, as well as where to get to the service, which is managed by Eric Doty, a former Xbox event community manager at Microsoft, such a love of investors.

Mobcrush is still in the open beta stage. You can download its iOS and Android versions from this link.
