For the fourth fiscal quarter of 2014, the Monster Strike battler of the Japanese company mixi brought its developers a crazy $333.8 million.

In other words, from January to March (the fiscal year for mixi ends only at the end of March), the game collected about $3.8 million per day from users.
For comparison, from January to September last year, the main competitor of mixi in the Japanese market – the company GungHo – “filmed” on all its projects, including Puzzle & Dragons, which, we recall, is the first mobile game in the world to earn a billion dollars, $4.5 million a day.
Of course, it would be more interesting to compare the results of specific projects over the same period of time, but, unfortunately, there is no such possibility. But note that at the moment (May 13) both in the Japanese App Store and in the Japanese Google Play – Monster Strike leads the overall box office tops, Puzzle & Dragons lags behind its competitor by 1-2 positions.
In total, mixi earned $927 million for the entire fiscal year 2014. This is 829% more than in fiscal 2013. The company’s revenue has also grown very significantly – from just $1.9 million last year to $275.4 million this year.
Next year, the company plans to achieve revenue of $1.54 billion and revenue of $434 million.
Monster Strike has so far been officially released only in Japan, Taiwan, North America, South Korea, Hong Kong and Macau.
