Sega will clean up its mobile catalog
The Japanese company is going to remove a number of its games from the App Store, Google Play, Samsung Apps and Amazon Appstore due to questions about their quality.
The other day, Sega announced that due to its desire to “make exciting high-quality mobile games,” it is going to remove from a number of existing mobile stores those mobile games that “no longer meet the standards.”
It is still unclear what kind of games we are talking about. In total, there are now more than 100 applications under Sega labels in mobile stores.
It seems to us that we are most likely talking about budget adaptations of cult classics, like Golden Axe. They were really poorly made. I just wonder if Sega removes all its ports – will there be many projects left?
