Aireal will fix virtual images at "width, longitude and height"

The Dallas startup Aireal has come up with augmented reality technology that will fix virtual images at a certain “width, longitude and height”. You will need a mobile device to read these images.

Let’s explain. Let’s say you come to a sporting goods store, point the tablet screen at a showcase and see how the players of your favorite team are playing football in it. Or go through the park and witness a round of Angry Birds with birds in human growth. This is what the Aireal technology offers.

Images can be either two-dimensional or three-dimensional. There are no details yet on how the technology will interact with mobile devices. We assume that it will be necessary, as, for example, in the case of a QR code, to download a special application.

Aireal is called “sellers of virtual real estate”. The idea is not just to sell technology locally, but to create a kind of virtual city that will be visible through head-worn devices and smartphones.

The company’s management expects that the technology will be in particular demand in the mobile gaming industry (who will refuse to play “angry birds” in their own yard?) – and in advertising.

Now the startup is looking for partners and investors. According to the management of Aireal, about 500 companies are already ready to apply the technology in their business.
