According to the Turkish government, the level of violence in the Minecraft game can be harmful to the child’s psyche,” the Polygon resource reports, citing a BBC report.
The country’s authorities believe that Minecraft instills in children the idea that it is permissible to harm people and animals. Minister of Family Affairs and Social Policy Aysenur Islam initiated a special study that will help to find out whether the game provokes an increase in aggression.
In the EU and North America, the game is considered suitable for children starting from primary school age. In addition, as a gift for Christmas, it has been consistently popular for several years.
