A trial launch of Empires & Allies from Zynga took place
The updated Empires & Allies game from Zynga has launched in Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
This version differs from the project of the same name, which was popular on Facebook, with more realistic graphics. The gameplay has also undergone changes: the new Empires & Allies copies Boom Beach.
Zynga believes that the new game should appeal to hardcore gamers.
The title is being developed by a team from San Francisco. It is compiled from developers who already have experience in creating strategies. Among others, Mark Skaggs, who participated in the creation of a PC game from EA called Command & Conquer, will work on the project.
The exact release date of the game is not yet called.
The original Empires & Allies debuted on Facebook in June 2011. The shareware strategy gathered an audience of 39 million people in 25 days. By 2013, the popularity of the project had come to naught, and it was decided to close it.
