Glispa: BRIC countries attract mobile advertisers
The number of mobile ad views in Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC countries) increased by 90% compared to the previous year and amounts to 84 billion per month. This was reported by Venturebeat resource with reference to its own research of the Glispa marketing agency.
BRIC is an abbreviation for a group of countries with rapidly developing economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China (since 2011, South Africa has joined the list, – approx. editorial offices). They represent a rapidly growing smartphone market. This cannot but attract advertisers and developers – both from the BRIC countries themselves, and from the USA, Europe, and so on.
“Advertising campaigns in the BRIC countries are very effective. The number of smartphone users in them is growing, and this explains our interest in the markets of these countries,” says Gary Lin, executive director of Glispa.”
