Kabam earned $400 million in 2014
Kabam's revenue for the 2014 fiscal year was $400 million, which is 11% more than the $360 million that the company talked about at the beginning of the year.
The company's management believes that a well-thought-out financial policy has formed the basis for success. Kabam, we recall, considered it profitable for itself to abandon browser games in favor of mobile ones.
"We made 2014 a year of transformation: we reorganized the management team, postponed the release of some games and focused on successful projects," said Kevin Chou, CEO of the company."
In addition, Kabam received investments in the amount of $120 million from the Chinese megacorporation Alibaba.
The total value of the publisher and the game developer is thus estimated at more than $1 billion.
