Temple Run for a virtual Reality helmet has been released

A version of the endless runner Temple Run has appeared for the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition virtual reality helmet.

In the shareware title from Imangi Studios, the user acts in the first person. He runs through a temple in the Arctic wilderness, controlling the character by moving his head left and right. The game called Temple Run VR can be downloaded from the Oculus Store.

The management of Imangi Studios has stated that they want to be pioneers in the field of virtual games.

“I’ve always been a fan of virtual reality,” says Keith Shepherd, co-founder of the studio. – We think this technology is very cool and we want to be part of the process of mastering it, no matter if it brings us money or not. That’s why our first VR game is free.”
