Disney Switches to Gentle F2P

Disney has changed the monetization model to a more ethical one in the new Puffle Wild mobile project, a shareware continuation of the Club Penguin franchise. The decision was made in response to criticism of the in-game payment system in the game Where’s My Water 2.

Disney had to change the controversial monetization model in Where’s My Water 2 after numerous user complaints. The company took this experience into account in the new game. All 75 levels of Puffle Wild, as well as any future updates, are completely free for those players who have already given $6 per month for access to the virtual world of MMORPG Club Penguin.

For those who are not subscribed to Club Penguin, only the first 60 levels of the game are available – you will have to pay extra for the rest.
