ZeptoLab commented on the participation in the section "Applications RED"
On November 24, Apple launched a special section in the App Store dedicated to December 1, World AIDS Day. One of the games included in the selection was Cut the Rope 2. We asked Semyon Voinov, creative director of ZeptoLab, about the project’s participation in the section.
Hi! How was the process of getting into the sample (Apple itself approached the developers with the initiative, or did it work in any other way, how long was the preparation for such a release going on)?Semyon Voinov
Hi! When Apple offered to participate in the promotion, we, of course, immediately agreed. The preparation took a couple of months, taking into account the creation of special content within the framework of the campaign.
It is known that Apple will give part of the money earned from the promotion to charity (apparently, this will be part of their 30%?), but if we talk about developers, will they also give part of the profits from this promotion to charity?100% of the collected funds will go to charity – both the developer’s share and Apple’s share.
In the case of Cut the Rope 2, this is money for the purchase of the application during the promotion period from November 24 to December 7 and a special RED Bundle inside the game.
