Shadow Fight 2 has passed the mark of 30 million downloads

The “shadow” fighting game from Nekki has been downloaded more than 30 million times. We talked with Sergey Babayev, Director of business Development at a Moscow company, about how much he earns per day and where he is most popular.

Hi!

The countdown has been taken since September, but we haven’t launched worldwide on Google Play for a long time. To tell the truth, we did this only at the end of last month, so on Android the project is still coming to a peak of growth.

You have said more than once or twice that you focus on making your products as viral as possible. Does this mean that at the current stage of 30 million downloads dynamics continues to grow?Yes. Now we cannot say that we are talking about a “settled” audience, i.e. we are not growing further or growing very slowly – just the opposite.

I think that soon we would be able to report both 40 million and 50 million, but I won’t lie – I just wanted to share the current joy as soon as possible

And, in this regard, of course, I can’t help but ask, how many times is the game downloaded per day now?At the peak of the launch on iOS, the project grew by 500 thousand installations per day, now the game is installed by more than 250 thousand users per day, but at the same time, thanks to Google Play, the figure is growing daily, i.e. we expect a repeat of this peak and even exceeding it.

The DAU of the project is now more than 700 thousand, the MAU is more than 5 million.

In which country is the game most popular? Can you tell us about the distribution of downloads by country?On Google Play Top 3 horse racing – USA, Russia, Turkey.

Top 3 by income: Russia, USA and Germany. Turkey only closes the Top 10 in terms of income.

For the AppStore, the picture is a little different. Top 3 in horse racing: China, USA, Russia. According to the income of the country, the order is slightly changed: the USA, China, Russia.

The USA brings the most to Google Play.

The most interesting question is about money. Can you tell us how much the game has earned at the moment, or at least what percentage of users you have converted to paying?In general, the project at its peak earns more than $ 100 thousand a day.

Before the launch on Google Play, the figure was decreasing, now, understandably, it is increasing. At the same time, we have big plans for the project: launch on Windows Phone, Mac Store and even Steam. So, we think the real peak of the project’s profitability is still ahead

And the last question – it’s a bit not about the game. When we last talked, you promised that you would soon release the animation engine in the Unity version. When to wait?We have somewhat updated the positioning of this project – to a kind of internal startup.

A full-fledged website will be launched soon, with an entry for beta testing of our tool for third-party developers. We really hope that the first external activity on it will begin in 2015.
