Kiwi raised $15 million

In its latest round of financing, the Kiwi developer company, noted by time managers Westbound and Shipwrecked, raised about $15 million.

This is not the first venture capital that the California studio has received. Sequoia Capital has previously invested $6 million in it. The money was not lost, given that five of the seven projects released by the company were in the US box office Top 25 on Google Play.

The main investor in the second round was Northgate Capital. The fund's money will be used to sponsor new studio games.

Yes, a few words about Kiwi itself. According to our colleagues at Venture Beat, from the very beginning, the company built its business primarily on the Play Store. Yes, it has releases on iOS, and the studio pays special attention to Android development.
