Kabam makes a mobile fighting game with Marvel heroes
The American publisher Kabam has announced the mobile fighting game Marvel Conquest of Champions.
One of the most successful mobile projects of Warner Bros. This is the Injustice: Gods Among Us fighting game, which has been in the box office Top 50 for the second year in a row only in the USA. But no one, except the "Warners" themselves, who reported a little less than a year ago to worthy Batman: Arkham Origins, until recently did not dare.
Kabam, which had a hand in self-copying, took up the task of correcting the situation. With the support of Marvel, Kevin Chou's company began to create a clone of Injustice, the Marvel Conquest of Champions game, in which, instead of Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, users will be offered Thor, Captain America, Deadpool and many other heroes of the "phenomenal" universe.
Whether Kabam will be able to repeat the success of Injustice, made by NetherRealm Studios, which "ate the dog" on console and mobile fighting games, is a big question. The most successful Kabam clone so far is Fast & Furious 6, which repeated CSR. But it's important to understand here: F&F6 was developed by Vancouver Exploding Barrel Games, which has been working on the Need For Speed line for many years. Kabam is not very good with other "imitations", not counting its own "Travians".
Marvel Conquest of Champions is coming to mobile platforms this fall.
