Yahoo buys Flurry for More than $300 Million
According to unconfirmed reports, the American search company Yahoo has closed a deal to acquire the analytical and advertising startup Flurry. The amount of the transaction ranges between $300 million and $1 billion.
This was announced on the night of July 21-22 by the Techcrunch website. The primary source of information is a post in Secret, however, sources of our Western colleagues close to Flurry confirmed that the startup was looking for a buyer, and Yahoo was interested in buying.
The Re/Code website, citing its sources, also claims that a deal is taking place.
Both explain the purchase by Yahoo's big ambitions related to the mobile advertising market.
