Innovations in Apple's policy are still in question

1

Advertising networks are at a loss about the latest news about Apple's ban on the use of motivational video ads and social sharing.

Recall that information appeared yesterday, according to which it is now prohibited in the App Store:

  1. Advertise groups of third-party applications (not published by you);
  2. Encourage balls (asked to like for game currency — ban);
  3. Reward for watching video ads if the app is advertised (but not physical products);
  4. Use motivated traffic.

We contacted two major Western advertising networks and asked them to comment on these initiatives. They said they were afraid of imposing such sanctions, but they still do not know about the real change in Apple's policy "first-hand."

Both companies wished to remain anonymous.

There is a suspicion that at the moment everyone is writing to the "apple" company. Or, conversely, Apple formulates a response under a barrage of emails. So no one is in a hurry to make big statements.

There are no battles and loud discussions on this issue on the Runet yet. Many agree that there are not really a large number of precedents (rejections and deletions from the development program for using motivated traffic) at the moment.
