The sequel to Puzzle & Dragons will be released on July 17
The Japanese company GungHo announced the release date of a new mobile game under the Puzzle & Dragons brand. The new title is called Puzzle & Dragons W and, to be honest, it’s not really a sequel, rather, an attempt to release a new project in conjunction with the old one.
Puzzle & Dragons W is a combination of two games: the standard Puzzle & Dragons, for which the Japanese company will continue to release updates, and Tamadora.
In Tamadora, the moment of collecting is simplified as much as possible (the GungHo management noted that they were developing a new project, wanting to please those who like match 3, but are not interested in collecting and constantly upgrading monsters), but the basic gameplay (“three-in-a-row”) is still the same.
However, it was decided not to completely abandon the collections. For completing tasks, the player receives three types of things – either a game doll (tamadora), or armor, or weapons. The characteristics of the player depend on the doll chosen by him, as well as the armor hung on it and the weapons handed to her.
However, gotcha seems to be missing. For hard game currency, the player will be able to buy only stamina or, in case of failure, additional game moves
