More than 50% of Chinese users do not have access to Wi-Fi and are forced to download applications using a cellular connection.

This was announced at the GMIC Beijing 2014 conference by the Chinese company Sky-mobi, specializing in the development of mobile games, messengers and music applications. According to her, in the first quarter of 2014, only 48% of users had any access to Wi-Fi.

And the larger the size of the application, the greater the number of rejections from it when downloading. Even those applications that weigh about 20 megabytes are too big for 33.4% of users.

Sky-mobi also talked about the best time to promote mobile apps. According to the company, it is best to time your campaign to The Day of Formation of the People's Republic of China (October 1) and the Chinese New Year.
