Minecraft - 21 million mobile downloads
The mobile version of the three-dimensional sandbox from Markus Persson has surpassed the mark of 20 million downloads.
This was announced yesterday by Jens Bergstein, who has been leading the development of Minecraft since December 2011.
MC:PE has sold over 20 million copies (actually, over 21M), so we're going to have a live broadcast on Monday: https://t.co/5p38eaIaqm

Recall that the game overcame the 10 million downloads mark almost a year ago, in May last year.
Also note that despite the release at the end of 2011 and the price tag of $6.99, the project still manages to sit in the paid gaming Top 5 in 40 countries, including the USA.
