King has a claim to The Banner Saga
We are starting the working weekday again with news about King. Yesterday’s rumors about the plans of the British company to sue the authors of The Banner Saga tactical strategy were confirmed.
On December 27, 2013, King filed a protest with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which says something like this: since the word Saga is used in 13 King products, it cannot be used in the Stoic studio project.
According to Kotaku, King doesn’t want money, she just wants The Banner Saga developers to rename their game.
On Kotaku, readers urge to take an axe and… punish KingApparently, King is seriously preparing for an IPO and is trying to eliminate all controversial issues in advance.
However, from the side of other developers and, what is also important, the players, the social company can easily turn into another evil corporation in the near future.
