iOS Releases of the Week #1
What should I download from the App Store this week? Read about it in our article.
Baldur’s Gate 2
Atari and Beamdog have released Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, a tablet version of the famous role–playing game Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn from BioWare. The project includes an original story campaign (70 hours of gameplay), the Throne of Bhaal expansion, quests A Shadow's Life, In Defense of the Wild and The Black Pits II: Gladiators of Thay. In addition to Retina resolution support and improved graphics, the developers have added a multiplayer mode and other nice bonuses to the project.
Mega Jump 2
Mega Jump 2 is a continuation of the popular vertical arcade game. You control a nimble red monster that flies forward to the stars. Along the way, the hero collects coins and super powers, and also avoids collisions with all sorts of enemies. For the sequel, Get Set Games studio has created a completely new engine that produces a decent picture. The free game has a micropayment system: you can buy new characters and super-features for currency.
Shadow Blade
Ninja is a platformer from the studio Crescent Moon Games, which is published by Universal. A cute game with dynamic gameplay, the main character named Kuro and user-friendly touch controls. The advantages of Shadow Blade include an abundance of levels (over 40) with secrets and fabulous design. This is far from Mark of The Ninja or Super Meat Boy, but it is suitable for short sessions.
Ripple Racer
A clone of Audiosurf. You are riding around an open location on a futuristic scooter. Obstacles constantly appear on the way that can be avoided. At the same time, the location pulsates to the sounds of your chosen music. The mechanics are a bit ill-conceived, but it looks decent.
