Quiz RPG has 17 million users in Japan
By the beginning of the year, the hit from Colopl had “conquered” 13% of the population of the Japanese archipelago.
For Quiz RPG developers: The World of Mystic Wiz managed to raise the number of downloads of the game from 3 million to 14 million in three months (September-November), as we wrote earlier.
By the end of November, the game began to add a million users every 7-10 days. This pace remained stable during the holidays, and by January 1, the number of Quiz RPG users exceeded 17 million.
If it is possible to maintain the current growth rates, the audience of Quiz RPG will be equal to the user base of Puzzle & Dragons from GungHo (22 million) by the end of February.
In terms of market capitalization, Colopl ($3.4 billion) is still very far behind GungHo ($8.09 billion).
However, this gap may be reduced in the near future. The reason for this may be Colopl’s partnership with Glu Mobile, which became known in mid-December. The new partner will help Colopl bring its games to foreign markets.
