What event/trend would you call the key event in the outgoing year in the mobile applications and games industry?

Undoubtedly, the dominance of the Free-to-play model and the explosive growth in the number of games using this business model. Mobile games have appeared that have already overtaken (albeit in a leap) the oldest leaders of the “real” gaming world — World Of Warcraft, which earns $ 3 million a day. These are Puzzle & Dragons and Candy Crush Saga, which have been closely watched by the entire industry this year.

Games have continued and will continue to move the appstore market, and this is a great credit to Google Play, which this year was ahead of the iOS App Store in all growth indicators.

What would you call the main event for your company this year?

Undoubtedly, this is the award "Best Multiplayer Game 2013 on Android" according to the Best App Ever Awards website, received by our Warspear Online game, in which this year we celebrated the registration of 3,000,000 players. And, of course, the fact that our company continues to be replenished with wonderful people!

Please name one or two games (not from your company) that you can call the best projects on mobile platforms based on the results of the outgoing year.

For me, the best game of this year on iPad was The Wolf Among Us from Telltale Games, and I'm looking forward to the next episodes. Despite the fact that I could have bought it on PC or PlayStation 3, the choice fell on the mobile platform, because it seemed to have been specially created for such games. Buy it, you won't regret it!
