Samsung has unveiled its gamepad
The shelf of game controllers has arrived. Korean giant Samsung has released a gamepad for sale for a line of its own Galaxy devices – Smartphone GamePad.
It is assumed that with the help of a Smartphone GamePad and any Galaxy gadget, you can make both a full-fledged home console and a portable one.
What does he look like?
The new device is shaped a bit like an Xbox 360 controller. There are a pair of analog sticks, a D-pad, seven keys (four gaming, as well as play, select and start), plus a pair of triggers.
How does it work?
By installing a special Mobile Console application on the device, the user binds gadgets to each other using Bluetooth. Then either attaches the smartphone to the gamepad on a special mount, or the mobile device controller connects the TV to the bundle.
After that, in fact, you can play.
The list of games that support Smartphone GamePad already includes: Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Asphalt 8: Airborne, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, Virtua Tennis Challenge and Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame.
It is planned that in the near future this list will be supplemented by 35 more titles.
By now, sales of this gamepad have already begun in Europe.
Are you interested in supporting such devices? Or do you not believe in their relevance in the mobile market?
