In Puzzle & Dragons, there is a limit on the amount of money that a user can contribute to the game
Japanese GungHo, which earns about $3.75 million a day on Puzzle & Dragons, announced an unusual initiative.
Users under the age of 16 cannot spend more than $50 (about 5000 rubles) in the game. Those users who are under 20 years old are limited to $200 (¥20,000). All other players can spend unlimited amounts on Puzzle & Dragons.
The reasons that prompted GungHo to introduce such restrictions are not entirely clear at the moment. Perhaps this is in some way connected with last year’s scandal around compu gacha (randomly generated loot), when a Japanese court banned some games due to the fact that the percentage of valuables in them was tenths, if not hundredths of a percent.
Presumably, this did not save many families from ruinous spending of children on “air”. And so that there was no ban, GangHo decided to make a move first.
