A quarter of iOS users switched to iOS 7
According to Mixpanel, which launched a special dashboard that tracks downloads of the new version of Apple’s mobile OS, more than 25% of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users switched to iOS 7 during the day.
And every hour the figure continues to grow.
This is a record speed for both Apple and any other platform. Last year, in the first 24 hours since the release of iOS 6, “only” 15% put it on their devices. It took her another week to reach the mark of 60% of iOS users. In 2011, iOS 5 appeared on 38% of Apple’s smartphones only four weeks after the release.
