HeroCraft has announced a Warhammer 40,000 game
Today it became known that the Kaliningrad studio HeroCraft is developing a tactical strategy with elements of the collectible card game Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf.
At the moment, not much is known about the project: the game will be a turn-based tactical strategy a la XCOM, in which a deck of cards will act as a kind of inventory.
According to the CEO of Herocraft Pavel Prokonich, “the project has been under development for about two months. An excellent team of gaming industry professionals has been selected, so the development is going on tightly and confidently.”
The game will be distributed according to the free-to-play model, but, as Pavel also noted, the developers “try to avoid entering game elements available only through microtransactions.” There will be at least one PvP mode in the game.
It will come out Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf next year on iOS, Android and PC.
