Users will spend $24 billion on mobile games in 2017
The total spending of users on mobile applications in the near future will amount to $ 75 billion, of which 75% will be spent on IAP, Juniper Research analysts reported in their latest report.
Revenue from tablet apps will also grow significantly. If by the end of this year it will amount to $7.8 billion, then by 2017 it will grow to $26.6 billion.
Micropayments will be the main driver of market volume growth. Paid downloads will account for no more than 25% of receipts.
Juniper Research also believes that in four years every user will be monetized through in-app advertising.
As one of the possible future trends, analysts highlighted the growth of competition between markets: by 2017, Microsoft and Amazon stores will grow, and the dualism of the modern market will come to an end.
