Boss Alien: revenue from games will be $10 million per day
According to the forecasts of Boss Alien founder Jason Avent, in a few years the most popular free apps will bring in up to $10 million a day.
Speaking at the Develop conference in Brighton, the Event touched upon the issue of major financial success achieved by the highest-grossing games on the App Store. Most of them are free applications.
Over the past few months, the revenues generated by games such as Clash of Clans and Puzzle & Dragons have regularly hit the headlines of various publications. However, Event, whose studio is the developer of the top CSR Racing application, believes that this is just the beginning.
According to him, “in three or four years, one game will be able to bring in $10 million a day.” Now the process of creating brands is just underway, the growth and promotion of which we will see in the near future.
He also stated that the budget allocated for development will inevitably increase. Successful companies will be able to invest millions and millions of dollars in production in order to “get rid of rivals and secure a place in the sun for the next 5-10 years.”
