The third mobile game King will be released in June
The British casual monster King announced that in early summer a mobile version of Pet Rescue Saga, the third part of the “royal saga”, will appear on iOS and Android.
Pet Rescue Saga first appeared on Facebook in October 2012. Like Bubble Witch Saga with Candy Crash Saga, the Pet Rescue Saga game is another variation on the Match-3 theme: the goal is to remove colored cubes so that the piglets standing on them end up on the ground. Pet Rescue will be a cross-platform project.
Considering that the DAU Pet Rescue Saga on Facebook is only 5.7 million, choosing it as the next port seems like a strange decision. For comparison, DAU Farm Heroes Saga is 49 million. Wouldn’t it be better to start with him? On the other hand, the transfer of the “farmer saga” to mobile platforms, theoretically, could hit the indicators of Candy Crush Saga. The projects differ from each other only in the setting. In turn, Pet Rescue Saga is a completely different project in terms of mechanics and concept.
The total DAU of the company for all platforms, we recall, is 70 million. For comparison, Zynga has this figure of 52 million.
King Marketing Director Alex Dale (Alex Dale) believes that the secret of his company’s success lies in the simplicity of the games produced:
“Firstly, games should be understandable to a wide audience. You won’t succeed with a game that requires a lot of time and effort,” he said in an interview with Inside Mobile Apps. – It is important that you can quickly and easily understand how to play. Secondly, casual games are best suited for mobile devices, not first-person shooters.”
