10% of Japanese are registered in Puzzle & Dragons

Every tenth inhabitant of the Land of the Rising Sun has at least once played the main game of this spring – Puzzle & Dragons from GungHo, says analyst Serkan Toto.

The analyst made this assumption based on the latest data from Social Game Info. According to them, on April 28, the number of total Puzzle & Dragons downloads on iOS and Android in Japan alone exceeded 13 million. Considering that 127 million people live in the country, it turns out that a little more than 10% of Japanese have at least downloaded the game.

By comparison, so far the best-selling game in Japan has been Pokemon. For the entire time of its existence , it has sold 10 million copies .

From the sign just below, it can be understood that Puzzle & Dragons took 19 days to get the last million.

The second column is the number of registered users in the tens of thousands, the third column is the number of days it took to reach the next millionRecall that the cost of GungHo is currently approaching $ 10 billion.
