Zynga General Manager Made a Card Game

The former vice president of Zynga Austin, with the support of Chaotic Moon Studios, founded a startup for the development of mobile games. The studio’s first project was a collectible card game with a market where players can sell game content to each other.

As reported by GI.biz Andrew Busey, formerly the central figure of the Austin division of Zynga, as well as one of the general managers of the company, created a new game studio Team Chaos. In its formation, Busey was helped by Chaotic Moon Studios, a company engaged in the development of games for popular brands.

The first project of Team Chaos was a card collectible game for iOS – Elements: Broken Lands, distributed according to the free-to-play model.

“The growth of card games in the mobile market has been incredible,” said Busey, who also noted that when developing Elements, the team wanted to raise the UI of such games and their quality on smartphones and tablets to a new level.

One of the features of the project is the presence of a market for users, where they can sell and buy game cards from each other. What is especially interesting is the opportunity not only to study the “offers” in detail, but also to track market trends (which card is particularly popular now, which is not, and so on).

The game also supports PvP mode and leaderboard.

Elements: Broken Lands can already be downloaded from the App Store.
