New possibilities for porting mobile games with Marmalade Juice

Marmalade, the winner of many awards in the field of cross-platform development, announced today the launch of Marmalade Juice, a unique technology that completely eliminates the need to transfer iOS games to other platforms.

Marmalade Juice removes all obstacles for iOS developers who seek other ecosystems by allowing the Marmalade SDK to recompile Objective-C into native OS APIs previously available only for iOS and Mac.

Thus, applications can run directly on Android, as well as on many other platforms that are supported by Marmalade, such as BlackBerry, Mac, and certain types of smart TVs. Optimization for the main platforms can be carried out using the Objective-C source code, as well as refinement at the initial level using Marmalade simulator.

Marmalade Juice has already made itself known by launching the iOS game ‘Tap Paradise Cove’ (Pocket Gems) on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. Being written exclusively in Objective-C, the Android version was created using Marmalade Juice without the need for additional efforts to create new code.  The iOS API calls remained unchanged, and the X-Code UI files were adapted to send events from the Android screen.

Marmalade is a software development tool that allows developers to extend the scope of applications to a large number of devices. Do you create cross-platform games? Make sure that your applications madewithmarmalade.com/ru .
