King.com announced the rebranding
Company King.com celebrating its 10th anniversary, it announced a rebranding. Now it will be called simply King. The MAU of the company’s mobile products has grown to 49 million.
The industry is changing, and companies need to change along with it: choose other priorities, shift the emphasis and, in other cases, even change the names. That’s exactly what the company did King.com , earned its current capital on the portal of the same name with casual games and projects under Facebook. Now, when the usual casual PC gaming is gradually losing its relevance, it is starting to go away and King.com . For this reason, most likely, it was decided to remove .com from the name. The logo has also been updated.
By the anniversary, some figures characterizing the current state of the company were also announced. Over 12 billion gaming sessions take place every month in its online, mobile and social products. The total MAU figure is 108 million, of which 49 million are mobile users. Not bad, considering that the company’s first project – Bubble Witch Saga – appeared on the market only in July last year. There are two mobile games in the King mobile portfolio now: the aforementioned Bubble Witch Saga and one of the main mobile hits of recent times – Candy Crush Saga.
In the future, the recently announced Facebook Papa Pear Saga will also appear on smartphones and tablets.
