Users don't like "buggy" apps

Compuware has published the results of its research on the attitude of users to applications and errors in them.

According to the data obtained, the majority of smartphone users (85%) prefer not mobile websites, but the corresponding applications. In their opinion, they are more convenient (55%), faster (48%) and simpler (40%). However, at the same time, users pay great attention to quality and do not like “buggy”. 79% of respondents stated that in cases when applications work with problems at the first launch, users make no more than two attempts to achieve normal functioning. And only 16% tried to do it more than twice.

Among the most “unpleasant” moments from their practice, users called “crashes” and freezes (62%), a long loading time (47%), and 40% of respondents indicated that applications simply did not start.
