Rovio is making a farm

The tireless Finnish team Rovio has announced yet another project in collaboration with filmmakers. This time, the partners are DreamWorks.

On March 14, a week before the premiere of the new animated feature The Croods, a game "based on" the same name will be released for iOS and Android.

The film is set in prehistoric times and tells the story of a family's adventures after they are forced to leave their "well-settled" home, which was damaged by an earthquake, to search for a new "place to live."

As for the game, based on the initial screenshots, it seems the Finns are offering something different this time—not a physics-based puzzle, but something akin to a Stone Age DragonVale: hunting and gathering food, capturing wild animals, then raising them in captivity while also building up your village.
