Wooga has taken up farms

The German company Wooga has announced a lineup of new products and also announced that it has finally started to profit from game development.

Just a few days ago, we published an interview with Wooga's CEO Jens Begemann, in which he mentioned that midcore projects can be expected from his team in the near future.

Kingsbridge

Indeed, among the newly announced games is the not-so-“casual” strategy Kingsbridge. However, its first version will not appear on mobile devices but on Facebook. Meanwhile, Pocket Village, which somewhat resembles the famous "Smurfs," is designed for iPhone and iPad and will be Wooga's first mobile platform "exclusive." The release is expected on April 11.

Pocket Village

On March 21, the mobile version of the popular Facebook "farm" game Monster World will launch in the Apple App Store. The game is adapted for smartphones and tablets with a focus on mobile gameplay. Finally, on March 5, the most ambitious project of the announced four, Pearl’s Peril—a hidden object/puzzle/adventure game—will debut on Facebook. iOS mobile device users will receive it in the second quarter of this year.

Pearl’s Peril

Currently, mobile games account for 50% of the company's revenue. Web projects also earn Wooga an equivalent amount. However, it took a long four years for the company, founded in 2009, to become profitable.
