Odnoklassniki started promoting mobile games

The Odnoklassniki social network has launched its own platform for mobile game developers. What is meant by this, the journalists of App2Top understood.

With the growing popularity of the mobile Internet, social network users are increasingly accessing their pages from smartphones and tablets. But until recently, none of the domestic networks offered users of their mobile versions a gaming service, and developers – mutual integration. It was especially strange to observe this against the background of long-standing activity in this area of Facebook.

Statement Mail.Ru The announcement of the launch in test mode of a mobile platform for games and applications on Odnoklassniki is the first bell.

In fact, the named mobile platform is a complete analogue of the “Application Center” of the Zuckerberg social network. This is not a market, but a separate tab in the Odnoklassniki app for iOS and Android (we didn’t check it on WP, but maybe there too). The tab hides a wall of applications integrated with the mobile version of the network. Click on any of them – and we are thrown to the game page in the App Store or Google Play.

It is officially stated that the platform was created to support domestic mobile application developers who, when integrating their game or program with Odnoklassniki, will have access to a vast audience of network users. The latter is more solvent than Vkontakte. She is simply older in age.

Thanks to the platform, authorized developers will have access to the network’s viral channels. This, in turn, will lead to an increase in downloads of these developers’ products distributed through the App Store and Google Play.

Together with the announcement of its platform Mail.Ru Group presented a small infographic revealing how and why you can make money on Odnoklassniki.

By the way, at the upcoming Winter Nights: Mobile Games Conference, all questions about the platform can be asked personally to its head Arthur Shakalis.
