Madfinger announced Dead Trigger 2

The Czech company announced the development of a sequel to its experimental zombie shooter Dead Trigger, at the same time demonstrating the capabilities of Tegra 4 and the updated version of Unity.

The announcement of the sequel Madfinger timed to the ongoing CES. The Czechs showed the game, or rather one of the levels, on the just-announced Android console Project SHIELD from Nvidia, running on the fourth version of Tegra. The rest of its characteristics are unknown, but given the relatively modest resolution of 1280 × 720 with a five-inch screen, it is possible that they are at the level of flagship devices of next spring. So, presumably, those graphic beauties that Dead Trigger 2 demonstrated will be relevant in the near future not only for Project SHIELD.

As for the details, they are unknown at this stage. Marek Rabas, one of the founders of Madfinger, only stated that the sequel would be “bigger, better and more exciting” than the original game.

The release of Dead Trigger 2 is scheduled for the second quarter of 2013 on both iOS and Android. Whether these versions will differ in any way is still unclear. According to what scheme the company will distribute them, Marek also did not specify.
