Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition rescheduled again
The release of the mobile version of the role-playing classics is postponed again for some time, according to the developers of the remake from Overhaul Games.
Creative director of the studio Trent Oster said on Twitter that Baldur’s Gate will not be released tomorrow, November 28, on iPad due to a critical bug. Now the game is worth waiting for, according to his assessment, not earlier than next week.
“We are doing our best. We will not go home until the new build is working,” wrote Oster.
This problem also affected the Android version of the game. “The current problem is cross-platform in nature, so corrections will be made in all versions of the game,” he also noted.
This is not the first postponement. Initially, the release of the game was planned for September, but it was canceled. For the official reason, because of the desire to polish the game. Judging by the presence of a critical bug, it was discovered only the day before the release, the developers failed to bring the project to mind in two months. In any case, we hope for the best.
The remake will include not only the original version of the game, but also the Thorone of Bhaal addon, as well as additional content: new characters and a whole new chapter.
