Windows 8 is not ready

Paul Otellini, CEO of Intel, said at an internal corporate meeting in Taiwan that Windows 8 will be released raw.

According to Otellini, the remaining flaws and errors can be corrected after the release of the operating system on the market. Earlier we wrote that in the current situation, Microsoft has two ways to solve the problem: to conduct beta testing on users or delay the release of the OS to fix numerous bugs, having lost its adherents on the eve of the Christmas holidays. The company chose the first option.

Otellini’s statement was the occasion for a fierce discussion. According to Michael Cherry, an analyst at Directions on Microsoft, Windows 8 is not only completely not ready, but the developers of hardware devices themselves simply did not have enough time to create high-quality drivers for the new OS. So, it is quite possible that we are waiting for another loud zilch, and not a “revolutionary (including mobile) platform”.
