PlayPhone tries to compete with Asian lions

Competition in the market of mobile social gaming networks is escalating. While Japanese giants GREE and DeNA are actively expanding in the Western market, “local” companies are trying to oppose them with something.

For example, the California-based PlayPhone is currently actively building up the partner base of its own PlayPhone’s Social Gaming Network (PSGN). According to the company, the number of its developers has increased by 500 studios in the last quarter alone.

Currently, there are 200 games in the assortment of the PSGN network, and by the end of the third quarter ending on September 30, it will be replenished with 40 more new titles. Now PlayPhone has more than 3,500 studios listed as partners.
