The first information about Nokia smartphones on WP8 has appeared
Apparently, the announcement of smartphones for Windows Phone 8 from Samsung really angered Nokia. The Finns, without waiting for September 5, unofficially merged all the data on their new devices based on the new Microsoft mobile platform.
The main feature of Nokia’s new WP8 smartphones – Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 – will be wireless charging. There are no wires from the device: put the device on the charger, which is a smooth plate, and wait for the miracle device to recharge.
Also, apparently, both models will partially support PureView technology, which improves the quality of images. More precisely, it improves a little. But no 20-pixel cameras are worth waiting for. The flagship model has an 8MP Lumia 920 camera.
As for the other characteristics of the flagship, it is almost one in one recently announced Samsung ATIV S: two cores with a processor frequency of 1.5 Mhz, 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of memory for data storage. However, the screen of the Lumia 920 is smaller: not 4.8 inches, but only 4.5. Perhaps that’s why it doesn’t seem so interesting anymore.
There are very few details about the Lumia 820, the younger model, so far. However, it is already clear that she will look amazing. The device has a very charismatic, bright design thanks to the bright red color and the rejection of the usual design of the Lumia series.
The official announcement of Nokia devices will take place tomorrow, September 5.
