The new Nexus 7 is already in Russia

The release date and the cost of Google’s main summer hit – the budget Nexus 7 tablet – on the Russian market have become known. 

The new seven-inch tablet will appear in Russian retail before the end of August. The price of the device in the minimum configuration, according to Cnews, will be 10,990 rubles. Recall that in the USA they ask for it from $ 199. 

Despite the fact that the demand for the device turned out to be very high in Western markets (especially for a model with 16 GB of memory), there will be no such hype around the device in the Russian market. The price for the domestic market is too high. At a cost of almost 11 thousand rubles, the Nexus 7 turns out to be only 3 thousand cheaper than the iPad 2. At the same time, among budget devices, it has enough competitors who are ready to offer wider functionality for less money.
