The "Wheel of Time" in the mobile world

Red Eagle Games and Jet Set Games have announced that they are developing a mobile game based on the universe described in Robert Jordan’s popular fantasy novels, The Wheel of Time.

A strategy game with RPG elements, called First Banner of the Rising Sun, will be released for iOS and Android. Developers are planning a whole series of products based on the Wheel of Time franchise.

Jet Set Games studio has experience in developing mobile strategy/RPG. As an example, we can cite their previous creation Highborn (iOS, Android, Google Chrome). It is also worth mentioning that this team was founded by experienced veterans Rade Stojsavljevic and Brett Sperry. By the way, Brett Sperry was one of the co-founders of the legendary Westwood Studios, which presented gamers with such masterpieces as the Kyrandia cycle, Dune II and the Command & Conquer strategy series.

A fundraising campaign has already begun for the development of the game on the Kickstarter crowdfunding service. Developers are asking for $450 thousand.
