Jetpack Joyride and Limbo received the Apple Design Awards

At the Worldwide Developers Conference 2012, the Jetpack Joyride (Halfbrick) and Limbo (Playdead) projects received Apple Design Awards.

Every year the jury awards this prize to the best projects for Mac, iPad and iPhone. Half of the awards this year went to gaming applications (which, in principle, is not surprising at all). Jetpack Joyride and Where’s My Water won among iPhone projects. RPG Deus Ex: Human Revolution from Eidos Montreal and Limbo were favorites among Mac games. The iOS project daWindci produced by Reality Twist received a prize for the best game from the student team.
