Valor Mortis paid off within a week of its release
The Polish studio One More Level, known for the Ghostrunner series, announced the profitability of its new action game, Valor Mortis. According to preliminary data, in the first week of sales, the game earned enough to cover the expenses outlined in the publishing agreement.

As stated in the stock market report from One More Level, the company received preliminary sales information from the game's co-publisher, the American Lyrical Games. Based on this information, the studio calculated that the net revenue of Valor Mortis has already exceeded the development, sales, and marketing costs that are recoverable under the publishing agreement.
However, the final financial results are yet to be confirmed. Settlements between the parties will be conducted based on actual receipts from digital platforms and other partners. It is expected that the first royalties from the sales of Valor Mortis will be received by One More Level no later than the first quarter of 2027.
To recap, Valor Mortis was released on October 13, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is a first-person action game set during the Napoleonic Wars. The developers have yet to disclose precise information about the exact sales volume, revenue, and budget of the game.
According to the Gamalytic service, sales of Valor Mortis on the Steam platform amounted to around 70,000 copies, potentially generating between $1.4 and $3.1 million.
