Sportradar will sell Atrium Sports for $170 million
Sportradar has reached an agreement to sell Atrium Sports. The buyer will be Teamworks Innovations, which will pay $170 million.
Atrium Sports is a division of Synergy Sports, developing a sports technology platform. Sportradar acquired Synergy Sports in 2021.
The sale is related to Sportradar's plans to focus on its key business areas—betting, gambling, and media. The company will retain some of Atrium Sports' technologies and the revenue associated with these assets.
According to Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl, the sale of Atrium Sports will allow the company to optimize its business, strengthen its financial balance, and promote further growth through the funds received.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, pending standard conditions.
