Over 5 million dollars were contributed to Kyrgyzstan's budget from gambling in the first eight months of 2026
The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan calculated the tax revenues from gambling for the period of January to August 2026. They amounted to 443 million soms ($5.07 million).
Almost all of this amount was generated by land-based casinos. According to the ministry's estimates, they alone brought 422.7 million soms ($4.83 million) into the state treasury.
Although other sectors did not generate as much in taxes, their contribution was significant on its own. Specifically, simulators and slot machines contributed 13.9 million soms ($158,000), while sports betting added another 4 million soms ($45,000). The smallest share of tax revenue came from the online casino segment, amounting to 2.8 million soms ($32,000).
